DIY Poker Night Party Box

DIY-POKER-NIGHT-PARTY-BOXOne thing you might not know about my fiancé is that he loves poker.  He’s always down for a poker night and playing in poker tournaments is one of Chris’s favorite past time activities that he happens to be really good at it (and winning too).  His two best friends are also really into poker.  Every time they get together, they plan an overnight trip the casino for a poker night mixed in with video gaming in the room and betting on said video games, so I thought it would be fun to put together a poker night party box for them to use on their next upcoming trip, as well as his bachelor party that will most likely be taking place in Vegas later on.
poker-nightFor the party box, I tried to incorporate the manliest of things I could find.  I’m fairly certain you can’t go wrong with anything bacon when it comes to men, so bacon ganache bars and bacon popcorn (found at Trader Joe’s) are a good choice.  You can get creative when making a poker party box based on what your guy likes, just don’t forget the liquor!  Single serve bottles are great for packing into the party box, and also help portion control so they guys don’t get too crazy!
poker-guys-nightSome guys also like occasionally smoke cigars while playing poker, so I chose to put a few natural leaf cigarillos in my party box.  I found these Cubero cigars in a Blend-12 Mocha flavor that seems like a good pair for bacon, so I’m sure the guys will be pleased.
