That means one lucky reader residing in the states of LA, FL, GA, or TX will be the winner!!

Don’t have a pool of your own?  No worries!  The Country Club Pool, one of New Orleans’ best kept secrets, has got you covered!  If you’re looking for a place to enjoy a swim with friends, fresh food and cold drinks, then this place is for you!  This makes for the ultimate summer Sunday Funday if you ask me!

TUBING ON THE RIVER

If you can’t get enough of the water scene, then you might want to also give Tiki Tubing down the river a try!  This is a fun way to spend the day with a group of friends and beat the heat in Louisiana this summer!

RELAX UNDER THE OAKS

If a day in the park with a scenic view is more your style, then head on over to City Park and relax under one of the big beautiful mossy oak trees!  There’s lots of shade here, which is a must have in the middle of a Louisiana summer.  City Park is great for picnicking, people watching, reading a book, or just chilling or taking a mid-day nap.  The day is yours!

If staying indoors and soaking up the AC is more your scene, then you can’t go wrong with adventuring through the Louisiana Brewery Trail!  Louisiana has enough breweries, wineries, and distilleries to keep you occupied all summer long!  Fun Ways to Beat the Heat in Louisiana This Summer How will you beat the heat in Louisiana this summer?  Do you have anything fun planned?!

These are ALL such amazing tips! It’s beyond hot in Texas, it makes it hard to want to leave the house!

I wish we had a pool that we could go to. Used to have one at our building but not at the new place.

I’m not in Lousiana, i’m in Texas but we get pretty hot. The best way I’ve found to beat the head has been leaving the state lol but for me it’s all about staying hydrated. I always have a colg water bottle in tow.

These are great tips for beating the heat! I love floating on the lake here in Washington!

I live in Tucson where we are already experiencing 100 degree temps. I have been making popsicles ever since it got hot. Now I just need to head over to the pool – which is in walking distance so I have no excuse not to!
